Land’s End to John O’Groats sponsored cycle ride for Mentor Link

One of our mentors Allan Roberts is raising funds for Mentor Link by taking part in a sponsored cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Allan is partially-sighted and supports a partially sighted boy who attends New College in Worcester. Allan’s mentee’s teacher writes:

 I know that Shaun [*name changed*] very much values his time with Allan and it’s also important to his mum, who worries about Shaun’s wellbeing. However, Shaun is in a much better place than he was when the mentoring started, and his meetings with Allan are a big part of his improved state of mind.

Allan has completed a gruelling seven months of training at the gym, attending three to five times each week, with more intense training until the end of March.
