TRUSTEE TREASURER – (Volunteer)

Mentor Link is a specialist charity dedicated to providing a listening and support service to vulnerable and distressed children throughout the West Midlands, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and beyond. Established in 2002 and achieving charitable status in 2004, we have grown in stature each year, in order to meet the continued and increasing demands on our services from children facing social and emotional difficulties and overall mental health issues.

We are now looking to recruit to the board, an additional Trustee to provide us with a sound financial awareness and give ongoing advice to the CEO and the board, in respect of income, expenditure, reserves policy, remuneration policy and charitable status obligations.

You will be a qualified accountant, or perhaps a retired FD, able to attend half-termly meetings in our Stourport on Severn head office, and importantly you will have an overriding desire to give something back to this wonderful charity committed to supporting distressed children.
