Award for Mentor Kath!

One of our lovely mentors Kathryn Stanczyszyn has been awarded a Generation CAN award at a glittering award ceremony at the Worcester Arena. Kathryn won the Heartbeat award for providing much needed weekly mentoring support to a 10 year old girl Grace who has special needs and was struggling with social anxiety.  Grace is now more confident and says, “I want to say thank you to Kath because now I have more strategies, I am much better able to cope.”  This local award winning charity provides one to one social and emotional support to distressed children in schools and welcomes enquiries from schools and parents. Last year the charity provided a service to 120 schools across the region and supported over 450 children.
